Pre-existing medical conditions

Having a medical condition such as high blood pressure, asthma or diabetes doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the full benefits of travel, but it’s important to make sure you have the right insurance in place.

We can offer cover for a wide range of pre-existing medical conditions, subject to a brief assessment for each traveller you wish to insure during our sales process, either online or by telephone.

Telling us about all relevant conditions during our quick and easy medical questionnaire will help ensure you have the right cover in place for your specific needs. Otherwise, there’s a risk you might not be protected if you have a problem while you’re travelling.

As soon as your insurance is issued, we’ll send you an email with a medical declaration to confirm you’re fully covered should anything happen on your travels relating to the conditions you declared.
