More Time to Ride

Whether you buy a bike from one of our stores or our website, we will build and safety check your bike. If you are buying in-store, we will also ensure the fit of the bike and any accessories are right. Whichever way you buy the bike or accessories, you will have the option of picking it up in-store or delivery.

When you place an order through the Cycles UK website, you are given the option of home delivery or Click & Collect at checkout. We offer a free shipping within the UK option, available on any accessory orders over £30 and bikes over £1000; you can also choose our free click and collect option. If buying in-store, you can take the bike away, or we can arrange to deliver it to you.

How long does delivery take?

Because we build and safety check all bikes before dispatching them it typically takes 2 to 3 working days to dispatch a bike out to you. Once the bike leaves us it will be on a next day courier service. If you live close to one of our stores we will normally hand-deliver the bike instead. In this case, we will contact you to arrange a convenient time. Nearly all bikes bought in our stores will be hand-delivered and we will be able to discuss delivery times with you when you buy.

How we deliver your bike

If you are local to one of our stores, and we are hand delivering the bike, it will have been built and safety checked by our mechanics. It will come fully assembled and ready to ride with the pedals on so you are good to go.

If the bike is being delivered by a courier it will still have been built and safety checked by one of our mechanics. It will also have had a second inspection prior to dispatch. To fit the bike in the box we will take the pedals off and turn the handlebars to one side. We will also have added some extra protective packaging.

You will receive instructions on how to set up your bike. Once you have removed it from the packaging simply follow the three-step process.

1. Turn the handlebars around and tighten up the bolts.
2. Put the pedals on. (be careful to get the right and left pedals correct as you can damage the threads)
3. Do a final check on brakes and a gentle run through the gears and away you go
