Travelling between Brussels and Amsterdam has never been so fast and easy with Eurostar and with the InterCity Netherlands. With Eurostar, you can even reach Amsterdam in a record 1 hour 50 minutes. Book your tickets 4 months in advance to get the best fares on offer.
Due to planned engineering works, the Intercity Netherlands (Brussels-Amsterdam) trains will be diverted via Roosendaal on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 April 2024, resulting in longer journey times. Another consequence is that the stations Noorderkempen en Breda will not be served.
Southbound trains from Amsterdam to Brussels will make an exceptional stop at Roosendaal, but northbound trains from Brussels to Amsterdam will not serve Roosendaal.
Passengers from Belgium to Breda can use replacement trains from Antwerpen-Centraal to Noorderkempen and replacement buses from Noorderkempen to Breda.
Passengers from Breda to Belgium can use NS trains to Roosendaal, where they can embark on the Intercity train to Brussels.

Passengers to/from Breda can change trains in Roosendaal and use local trains to/from Breda.
Besides, replacement buses will connect Antwerpen-Centraal, Noorderkempen and Breda.
Passengers from Breda to Belgium can use NS trains to Roosendaal, where they can embark on the Intercity train to Brussels.

Due to planned infrastructure works on the Belgian network, IC Netherlands trains will be diverted around Antwerp and will not service Anwerpen-Centraal on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 July.
If you are traveling to or from Antwerp, you can hop on or off at Antwerpen-Berchem, from where you will have connections to Antwerp-Centraal.

The 16 daily InterCity trains get you to Amsterdam in a little under 3 hours. With a Flex ticket, you can board the train of your choice and get on and off wherever you want along the line (13 stops), without requiring a seat reservation.
Upon your arrival at Amsterdam Central station (located in the very centre of the city), the wide array of different public transport lines on offer (underground, tram, bus or even train) means you can start your visit to the city with ease, or continue your journey on to other towns and cities. If you are feeling particularly active, you can take advantage of the central location of the station to get your trip to Amsterdam off to a good start using the most popular method of transport, the bike!
