It is a little bit frustrating that everytime you check in you have to complete the same information. This is our company preferred hotel when we travel so i have stayed a number of times. The other disappointing thing is that there is not enough parking for guests, I had to find street parking nearby (the worst part was the hotel charged for parking when they told me it was not available) It took 2 phone calls to get the charge removed. Staff are always pleasant at check in and check out. But please supply a copy of the tax invoice when requested, please don't tell us you can't as we need to supply it to our accounts department.

Spacious studio room

Our twin studio room was very specious and comfortable. The hotel art was very interesting as was the history of the building. Staff were helpful and parking was convenient. Hotel was located in the right part of town that suited our needs.

Staff were lovely and helpful. Accessible room was a good sized- king size bed was good height for transfers to and from wheelchair (a lot of hotels seem to be extremely high or extremely low!) good roll-in shower bathroom layout- and some shelves to keep thing out of the sink. Hotel has one wheelchair accessible car park which the staff kept for us (others were using it as there are not many spaces undercover). Hotel pool has a chair hoist for access. We didn’t use it this trip but will definitely look to next time. Local area is really steep, but there are a couple of cafes and restaurants across the road we could get to and the free city loop bus (wheelchair accessible) stops just out front .

This was a business stay and was for a night. I have been to many hotels but I have to say this hotel was unique. The room was a little dated, but the ceiling was crazy high. Making the room look extremely big. Also, room came with a terrace, so you can enjoy the view. The bathroom was alright. Showerhead was a bit dirty and water pressure was quite weak. As an accor gold, it was nice to see they had a little welcome gift which I truly appreciated. Another thing to note is that there is no hotel restaurant. They closest thing is a kickin inn restaurant beside the hotel or Creole soul kitchen across the street.
