PRIMAL 2 VS. PRIMAL 3 OVERVIEW

Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

FULL RUBBER OUTSOLE WITH ZIG-ZAG SIPING

This brand new, sticky rubber outsole incorporates 4mm deep lugs for incredible traction on snow, mud, and everywhere in-between! The built in zig-zag grooves (siping) provide additional biting edges to cut into ice/snow and helps ground your feet in slippery situations.

Lightweight with just enough support.
I purchased these for hunting boots after using too many stiff, rigid and heavy boots. I've been running in minimalist shoes for about 20 years so I'm used to the minimalist foot wear. These boots have a wide toe box. They are water proof. They are lightweight. They protect the front of the toes. They have excellent grip/tread. Packed 65 lbs over 5 miles up a couple thousand feet for a spring bear hunt. No problems what so ever. There were no interior hot spots/rubbing. Had lightweight merino socks in 20 F weather and toes were a little cold due to sweat. Changed to a thicker sock and problem solved.
Wife got a pair. Buying another pair. Hands down the most comfortable boot I have ever worn.
Might have to send back for correct sizing: Wife's pair sent back for being to small but LEMS issued the return and we had the correct size back in a couple of days. Great service.

GREAT
I've used these boots for a couple months now, strictly for outdoor work, and hunting. So far they have been everything I've needed and expected. They are comfortable, and are water proof up too top of boot. I have walked creeks and my socks haven't gotten wet yet.
